Kambria make AI & robotics development faster, cheaper & easier. A decentralised open AI & robotics platform to accelerate the development & adoption of impactful robots. Current progress in the robotics industry is impeded by siloed development, wasted labor & high startup cost. As a result, the pace of robotics innovation is slow. Kambria’s creation was borne out of our desire to accelerate progress by engaging a vast community of developer.
Kambria is still in very early stages, it’s fairly unknown and the community have yet to show a huge amount of interest with only 500 member on Twitter, although they have a fair amount of members on Telegram with under 8k. MVP is working with the full launch of the platform is in Q1 2019 which is reasonable considering the size of the project. Kambria aim to make robotic programming & creating easer, cheaper and quicker. They are doing this using their codebase, which is expressed by KDNA which is a modular language which makes it easier to collaborate on hardware & software projects. Creators on the platform will be able to check out the component they need from the Kambria codebase and build onto of it which is good. There are still many unknowns about the project but with a team & advisors of this strength they have the potential to be very successful. We look forward to seeing their progress.
