The team have given the following explanation on their token dynamics, but this information may change once their token economics whitepaper is released. Currently, on Leviatom network, a node can choose to act in one or many of three roles:

Verifiers, who continuously and repeatedly examine the trustworthiness of the surrounding nodes by initiating TEE-oriented verifications to them, and they also carry the duty of node discovery. These repeated verifications constitute the basic heartbeat of Leviatom and are set to be encouraged and rewarded. Therefore, Leviatom implements the “verification as mining” mechanism, so that frequent verification computing power contributors will be periodically allocated tokens.


Routers, who collect the verification data from the verifiers and disseminate it to other peers. Routers utilize the gossip algorithms to construct the web-of-trust and help to determine the “Conspiracy Breaching” model for each node. Routers also help to identify the Leviatom nodes who have specified properties, such as trust value, software properties, and data possessions. Routers form the backbone of Leviatom network, and as such, they are rewarded via “routing as mining”.


Executers, who execute the Prometh applications as scheduled by the MagCarta contract. The MagCarta’s consensus call specifies how the executers will get rewarded, as long as its returned values satisfy the consensus strategy. As its execution rights are obtained by contributions in compute power, storage, or bandwidth from verifiers and routers, executers will have to reward these contributions with part of their earned tokens. This mechanism is labelled “execution as gas” and “verification as gas”.

TRIAS ICO Leviatom Method

an integration of Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) and Graph that helps to achieve the correct execution of general-purpose software. Leviatom implements a Heterogeneous Consensus Graph (HCGraph) algorithm, which combines heterogeneous TEE technologies and graph computing algorithms. Heterogeneous TEEs allow Leviatom to rapidly identify misbehaving nodes while eliminating the dependency on any single technology provider, meanwhile, HCGraph’s small-world-theory-based gossip protocol significantly reduces the redundant TEE verifications, while preserving a scalable and robust web-of-trust. With HCGraph, Leviatom can achieve over 100,000 tps for a single shard, while defending near 90% malicious collaborative attacks.


TRIAS Prometh

Is a combination of formal verification and DevSecOps methodologies that helps to achieve traceable and verifiable general-purpose software development. Prometh genuinely records the critical information for a piece of the software’s entire lifecycle on the blockchain. It encourages the community to apply formal verification and DevSecOps methodologies to enforce automatic or manual examinations or verifications on the recorded information. This helps to deduce the veracity of the software’s properties, which in turn ensures that any piece of software only implements intended behaviours.


TRIAS ICO MagCarta

Is a consensus-oriented programming paradigm concerned with achieving embedded and self-defined consensus strategy for high-order enterprise DApps. MagCarta schedules Prometh applications on the Leviatom network to achieve high-order enterprise application logic. With the consensus-oriented programming paradigm, dApps can implement their embed consensus algorithm and ledger structure, and choose their strategy for rewarding the computing infrastructures (Leviatom) of software components (Prometh) contributors.

Company Stage

Trias is based in Beijing, China and it has not been possible to locate the company registration details so far. Even though the project shares the same core members as Octa Innovations Ltd., there is little official information available in English. However, Trias maintains a connection with the laboratory collaboration between Octa Innovations and Peking University and will receive assistance with research capabilities. In addition, co-founders Anbang Ruan and Ming Wei are quite transparent and have easily verifiable LinkedIn profiles as well as numerous academic and professional achievements that can be checked quite easily.

Trias ICO Review: Hype And Exposure

The TRIAS project has not developed a significant amount of hype, even though it is generally well regarded. Their Telegram channel has over 14,000 members, while their Twitter account has just over 1,000 followers. This shows that the project is still somewhat under the radar and may grow in exposure once it gets picked up by more social media influencers and the team increase their marketing efforts.

The project has been raising a substancial amount of funding via VCs and private funds. It seems that their strategy is to stay under the radar until more development is completed.

We are waiting for an interview with the CEO or another member of the executive team.

CONCLUSION

TRIAS ICO: Conclusion

HCGraph plus TEE is definitely an innovative solution for resolving the current blockchain issues. The CEO and CTO have proven records of the research/patent in trusted computing field and the tech team also shows strong technical experience in blockchain. As there is no published information about their token metrics, advisor and  ICOs Github code, it’s still too early to assess the performance of the TRIAS ICO and whether they will be able to deliver as they’ve planned. A lot of ICOs are not transperent enough in regards to their token metrics. We will try to do further invetigation, and interview the Trias  ICO Team directly.

We blieve that innovation is the key to succesful investing. Trias ICO is one of the most interesting ICOs that we have seen in terms of technology, however running an ICO is more than just tech. We have yet to see how they will approach their Token Metrics and work together with large Venture capitals and more. In the current  markets token metrics stand  above everything else.
